Christopher McMullan brings over 30 years of industry experience to wEquipu. As one of the upcoming business coach located in the Triangle, Christopher McMullan’s expertise and leadership has been proven as he has been called upon the by the local and international community to serve various leadership positions. He believes with pigheaded discipline, persistence and servant leadership will lead success.
In 2011, Mr. McMullan founded McMullan and Associates, a coaching firm which advises and equips CEO’s and management of small businesses with the necessary leadership, passion and tools to optimize the integration of human capital and business fundamentals to increase their revenue and reduce cost.. As the founding partner, he is determined to make a difference by assisting small businesses in their professional careers. This determination lead him to become a Certified Business Coach, Teacher and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team, he also became Certified as an Entrepreneurship instructor with the IceHouse and NTFE programs to promote entrepreneurship to students young and old. He established the Non-Profit Leadership Institute for Future Entrepreneurs (LIFE) which is aimed at a new generation of young entrepreneurs and business leaders rising up to demonstrate their strength through servant leadership.
Prior to wEquipu, he was a Business Development Professional for over 26 years where he has been successful in building and growing an high performing organization serving IBM with sales in excess of $1.2B. The results were created via execution of account management, engineering development, and merger and acquisition integration. With his technical background in Electrical Engineering and projectmanagement, he was able to identify and create lucrative and scalable opportunities in the contract manufacturing industry. As former Technical Program Manager, he led technology and computer development for OEM marketplace for Fortune 100 companies and traveled extensively in Asia to establish manufacturing partners in China and Taiwan. He provided oversight and direction for matrixed development teams of 15‐20 engineers. He added $20M to division proﬁts while laying the foundation for Intel’s overseas business in China, by pioneering outsourcing strategies in China for low‐cost component development.
Devoted Family Man and Community Volunteer Happily married to Sherida with whom he is raising their one daughter, Isla. He loves golf and swimming. When not with Sherida and Isla, he like keeping busy by volunteering with several organizations including serving the North Carolina Hispanic Chamber Commerce and teaching the advantages of Social Media in small business. He is also active with his local church, Christian Faith Center.
